- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the ground meat, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
- Brown the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Spread half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish. Place meatballs on top, then add the remaining ziti mixture.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
