Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground meat, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
  4. Brown the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked ziti, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Spread half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish. Place meatballs on top, then add the remaining ziti mixture.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
