Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, combine the rice, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it starts to boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add raisins if using, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
