- 1/2 cup milk

- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.
- For the custard, heat milk in a saucepan until warm.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar, then add warm milk slowly.
- Return to the saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened.
- Cool the custard before spreading it on the cake.
- Melt chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Stir until smooth, then let it cool slightly.
- Pour chocolate over the custard layer and spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
