- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, cayenne, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll the dough into small balls and coat them in powdered sugar.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool before serving.

- For gluten-free cookies, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend.
