- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup cooked ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/4 cup diced onions (optional)
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1/4 cup pickles, chopped (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Add cooking oil to the skillet.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet.
- Spread cooked ground beef evenly on the tortilla.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.
- Add onions, tomatoes, and pickles if desired.
- Top with the second tortilla.
- Cook until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula.
- Cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese melts, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet and let cool for a minute.
- Cut into wedges and serve warm.
