Description

A delicious twist on traditional quesadillas with cheeseburger flavors.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onions and cook until soft.
  3. Add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in tomatoes and pickles.
  5. Place a tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half with cheese, and add a portion of the beef mixture.
  6. Fold the tortilla over and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
  8. Cut into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter option.
  • For a vegetarian version, substitute beef with black beans.
  • Feel free to add bell peppers or mushrooms to the filling.
