- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat, then stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy.
- Spread half of the brownie mixture in the prepared pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
- Add spoonfuls of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese.
- Spread the remaining brownie mixture over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.

- Use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free option.
- Substitute cream cheese with a dairy-free alternative if needed.
- For less sweetness, reduce the amount of sugar.
