A delicious blend of cherry, cheesecake, and brownie flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in granulated sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and stir until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
  6. Spread half of the brownie batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
  9. Add dollops of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer.
  10. Spread the remaining brownie batter over the cherries.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.

  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free flour.
  • Use low-fat cream cheese to reduce calories.
  • Fresh cherries can be used instead of pie filling.
