Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, warm the milk until it is lukewarm.
- Add yeast to the milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Stir until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut it into slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- You can substitute almond milk for regular milk for a dairy-free option.
- Use whole wheat flour for a healthier version.
- Try adding raisins or nuts for extra flavor.
