Delicious pecan pralines that are easy to make and enjoyable for all.
Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and heavy cream.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugars dissolve.
- Add butter and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Continue boiling for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in pecans and vanilla extract.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment paper.
- Let cool until set.
Notes
- Use unsalted butter for a better flavor.
- Try using walnuts instead of pecans if desired.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut cream for heavy cream.
