- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, melted butter, and salt.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free oats and flour.
- You can substitute pears for apples if desired.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for added comfort.
