- 500g beef mince
- 400g pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200ml cream
- 100g grated cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add beef mince to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the pasta with the beef mixture, stirring well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with grated cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
