Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in crab meat and shrimp. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add seafood stock, tomato paste, and thyme. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
