Ingredients

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
- Add half of the ricotta mixture, half of the meat, and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers: sauce, noodles, ricotta, meat, and mozzarella.
- Finish with sauce and top with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until noodles are tender.
- Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.

- Use gluten-free lasagna noodles for a gluten-free option.
- Try adding vegetables like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
