Description
A comforting crockpot dish featuring pierogi and kielbasa.
Ingredients

- 1 package pierogi (16 oz)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Layer half of the pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the kielbasa slices on top.
- Spread half of the sauerkraut over the kielbasa.
- Sprinkle half of the chopped onion over the sauerkraut.
- Layer half of the cheese on top.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and garlic powder.
- Pour half of this mixture over the cheese layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Notes
- Feel free to use turkey kielbasa for a lighter option.
- Substitute gluten-free pierogi if needed.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
