A delicious and easy-to-make crunch roll sushi bowl that brings the flavors of sushi to your home in a simple dish.
Ingredients

- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 cup imitation crab meat, shredded
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)
- 1/4 cup crunchy tempura flakes
- Soy sauce for serving
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- Combine rinsed rice and water in a rice cooker. Cook according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a small saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Set aside.
- Once rice is cooked, transfer to a large bowl. Pour vinegar mixture over rice and gently fold to combine.
- Let rice cool to room temperature.
- In a bowl, mix shredded crab meat, mayonnaise, and sriracha if using.
- To assemble, place a scoop of rice in a bowl. Top with avocado, cucumber, carrot, and crab mixture.
- Sprinkle crunchy tempura flakes on top.
- Serve with soy sauce on the side.
Notes
- You can substitute quinoa for a gluten-free option.
- Use cooked shrimp or tofu instead of crab for different protein choices.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or radishes.
