- 2 3/4 cups milk
- 3 large eggs

- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, mix sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
- Add milk gradually while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla together.
- Slowly add a small amount of the hot chocolate mixture to the eggs, then stir back into the saucepan.
- Cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the butter until melted.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Let it cool before serving.
