Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add chopped cabbage and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a baking dish, layer half of the cabbage, followed by half of the cheese.
  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pour half over the cabbage and cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining cabbage, cheese, and cream mixture.
  6. Dot the top with butter.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
