Description
A delightful grilled cheese salad that combines the crunch of fresh greens with the comfort of melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheese (your choice)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cups of mixed salad greens
- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup of cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup of your favorite salad dressing
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Add cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the other two slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before cutting into squares.
- In a large bowl, combine salad greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber.
- Add the dressing and toss gently.
- Serve the grilled cheese squares on top of the salad.
Notes
- Use whole grain bread for added fiber.
- Swap cheese for a dairy-free option if needed.
- Add cooked chicken or beans for extra protein.
