A delightful grilled cheese salad that combines the crunch of fresh greens with the comfort of melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 cups of mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup of cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of your favorite salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Add cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with the other two slices of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before cutting into squares.
  8. In a large bowl, combine salad greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber.
  9. Add the dressing and toss gently.
  10. Serve the grilled cheese squares on top of the salad.
