Description
A comforting grilled cheese steak sandwich that combines tender steak and melty cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 4 oz steak, thinly sliced
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Remove the steak and set aside.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Add the cheese on top, followed by the steak.
- Top with the second slice of cheese and the other slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use whole grain bread for added fiber.
- Try different cheeses like Swiss or provolone.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute steak with sautéed mushrooms.
