- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add softened butter, crushed pineapple, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the cooled cake.
- Top with fresh fruit if desired.

- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free flour.
- You can substitute coconut cream for whipped cream for a tropical flavor.
