Description

Ingredients

  • 3 bell peppers (red, green, yellow), sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hoagie rolls for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Place the sliced peppers, onion, and garlic in the crockpot.
  3. Add the browned sausage on top of the vegetables.
  4. Pour in the diced tomatoes and add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Stir gently before serving.
  7. Serve in hoagie rolls if desired.
