- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Take a cooked noodle, place a spoonful of the cheese mixture on one end, and roll it up.
- Place the rolled noodle seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Repeat until all noodles are filled and placed in the dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- You can use gluten-free noodles for a gluten-free option.
- Substitute cottage cheese for ricotta if desired.
- Add cooked spinach or ground meat to the cheese mixture for extra flavor.
