 - Black pepper to taste
 - 1 cup ricotta cheese
 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
 - Add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook until softened.
 - Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, uncooked pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
 - Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked.
 - Stir in the ricotta cheese until melted and well combined.
 - Serve hot, topped with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil if desired.
