A delightful recipe for minced crocodile sausage rolls that are easy to prepare and comforting to eat.

- 500g minced crocodile meat
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pack of puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine minced crocodile meat, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles, about 10cm x 15cm.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on one end of each pastry rectangle.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges by pressing down with a fork.
- Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute minced crocodile with minced chicken or turkey.
- For a vegetarian option, use a mix of mushrooms and lentils.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving to avoid burns.
