Delicious mini apple tarts made with fresh apples and a flaky crust.

- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface.
- Cut the crust into small circles to fit in a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour.
- Spoon the apple mixture into each crust circle.
- Brush the edges of the crust with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute pears for apples.
- Use gluten-free pie crust if needed.
- Add nuts for extra crunch.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
