Description

Delicious mini apple tarts made with fresh apples and a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the crust into small circles to fit in a muffin tin.
  4. In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour.
  5. Spoon the apple mixture into each crust circle.
  6. Brush the edges of the crust with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
