- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Heat heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add dark chocolate chips. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Add orange zest and orange extract. Mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 1-2 hours until firm.
- Using a melon baller or spoon, scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
- Roll each ball in cocoa powder to coat.
- Place truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- For a dairy-free option, use coconut cream and dairy-free chocolate.
- You can substitute orange zest with lemon or lime zest for variety.
