Ingredients

- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a large skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Add meatballs to the sauce and cover. Cook for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve meatballs over spaghetti. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter option.
- Gluten-free pasta can be used if needed.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers to the sauce for extra nutrition.
