Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 slices of provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup of cooked steak, sliced thin
- 1/4 cup of sautéed onions
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Layer with provolone cheese, steak, and sautéed onions.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use whole grain or gluten-free bread as a substitute.
- Replace provolone with cheddar or mozzarella cheese if desired.
- Use vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for added flavor.
