- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can pizza sauce (15 ounces)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package tater tots (32 ounces)
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium heat.
- Drain any excess fat and stir in the pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly on the bottom.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the beef.
- Arrange the tater tots on top of the cheese.
- Layer the remaining mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top of the tater tots.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
