Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup cornflakes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Continue boiling for 3-4 minutes until it turns a light caramel color.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and chopped pecans.
- Add cornflakes and mix until well coated.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper and let cool completely.
Notes
- For a nut-free version, replace pecans with sunflower seeds.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
