Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and milk.
  3. Add melted butter, chopped pecans, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix water and additional brown sugar. Pour this over the batter.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
