Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together.
  4. Add the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. If using, fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
