- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix buttermilk with ranch seasoning.
- Soak the chicken breasts in the buttermilk mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts if preferred.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option.
- For a lighter version, skip the frying step and bake the chicken directly.
