- 2 cups of milk

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup of raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water.
- In a pot, combine rice, milk, sugar, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often, for 20-25 minutes.
- Add vanilla, cinnamon, and raisins, if using.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
