Description

A comforting seafood lasagna that combines layers of pasta with rich seafood and creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  7. Add half of the shrimp, crab meat, and spinach on top.
  8. Repeat the layers: noodles, ricotta, seafood, and spinach.
  9. Top with the remaining noodles and marinara sauce. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cheese.
  • Swap shrimp for cooked chicken or vegetables for a different taste.
  • Use whole grain noodles for added fiber.
