Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour, salt, and chopped nuts. Mix until combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool for a few minutes, then roll them in additional powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, you can use a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend.
- If you prefer nut-free cookies, simply omit the nuts.
