- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 1 pound spaghetti
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Drain spaghetti and serve with meatballs and sauce on top.
Notes
- For a healthier option, use ground turkey or chicken.
- Gluten-free breadcrumbs can replace regular breadcrumbs.
- Fresh basil can be used instead of parsley for a different flavor.
