  • 250g sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 500g puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large pan, cook the onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add the diced steak and sausage. Brown the meat on all sides.
  4. Add carrots, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  6. Place the meat mixture in a pie dish.
  7. Cover with the puff pastry and seal the edges.
  8. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let it cool slightly before serving.
