- 500g steak, diced
- 250g sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 500g puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large pan, cook the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the diced steak and sausage. Brown the meat on all sides.
- Add carrots, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Place the meat mixture in a pie dish.
- Cover with the puff pastry and seal the edges.
- Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.

- Use chicken or vegetable broth for a lighter option.
- Swap steak for ground beef or turkey if preferred.
- Add peas or corn for extra vegetables.
