Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir until just combined.
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently knead.
  6. Roll out to 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. While cakes bake, mix sliced strawberries with sugar and let sit.
  9. Once cakes cool, slice them in half.
  10. Layer strawberries and whipped cream between the cake halves.
  11. Top with more strawberries and cream before serving.
