Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • You can use spinach or ground meat as a filling alternative.
  • Gluten-free pasta shells are available for those with gluten sensitivities.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like zucchini or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
