Ingredients

- 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the top.
- If using, add mini marshmallows on top of the pecans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and the top is golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use almond milk for a dairy-free option.
- Maple syrup can replace brown sugar for a different sweetness.
- For a nut-free version, omit pecans and use seeds.
