Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the top.
  5. If using, add mini marshmallows on top of the pecans.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and the top is golden.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
