A delicious blend of taco flavors and cheesy goodness in a grilled cheese sandwich.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salsa for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cooked meat with taco seasoning.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add half of the shredded cheese on top of the bread.
- Spread the meat mixture over the cheese.
- Add the remaining cheese on top of the meat.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side.
- Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, remove from skillet.
- Slice and serve with salsa if desired.
Notes
- Use any bread you prefer, such as whole wheat or gluten-free.
- Substitute meat with black beans for a vegetarian option.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
