Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in canned tomatoes and season with salt.
  6. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.
  8. Toss well to combine and serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
