- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: 1 bell pepper, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add ground turkey. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add diced tomatoes, beans, and chicken broth.
- If using, add chopped bell pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir occasionally. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve warm and enjoy your meal.

- You can use lean ground beef or chicken instead of turkey.
