- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix almond milk, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, applesauce, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add baking powder and flour to the mixture. Stir until well combined.
- If using, fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use any plant-based milk instead of almond milk.
- Maple syrup can replace coconut sugar.
- Use a gluten-free flour blend if you need a gluten-free option.
