- 1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let it cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with cheese on top if desired.
